Pebbles got a special surprise, when her BFF came all the way from Kansas City to visit her! Pebs had a wonderful time getting spoiled rotten!

I’m just sitting here about to explode out of my skin, because my BFF is coming to visit me! We’ve been counting down the months, and the weeks and the days…and the big day is finally here!

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh…she’s here!!

Aww, yeah! Slumber party for the girls!! We’re going to stay up all night telling secrets and trading beauty tips!

It doesn’t get any better than a sunrise hike with my BFF! Pretty awesome way to spend time together. And no, I don’t take the ride for granted, I pay in kisses!

We made it to the top of Sunrise Mountain! That was a steep one…our little legs had to work really hard. What a view…worth every step!

Staying up all night gossiping with my BFF and a sunrise hike this morning…I am spent! Whew, girls weekend is exhausting!

Of course, a weekend with your BFF has to include dinner out, and what dinner wouldn’t be complete without a yummy blueberry cocktail?!?

Having visitors is so fun, we get to explore places that we don’t go to on a regular basis. Like Sedona, less than two hours away, but we have only been there a couple of times. Nothing like seeing the beautiful, red rocks of Sedona!

The best hiking trail in Sedona is supposed to be the West Fork of Oak Creek. So, of course, we had to check it out! A stream runs alongside the trail through a forested canyon, surrounded by beautiful rock formations. It was very different from our Phoenix desert hikes…cool, shady with many water hazards!

My BFF was an awesome hiker! She carried me over at least 8 different water hazards…and we both stayed dry!!

We’re just some little guys (and a gal) adventuring and experiencing this big wide world!

A rare Benji tongue sighting…pretty sure that means it’s time to call it a day!

My BFF is gone. It’s back to the real world of rules, waiting my turn and brothers! Come back, bestie, come back!!
