Mommy, Daddy & I participated in the 4 Peak Challenge this year. We hiked to the top of four different mountain peaks in our area. If you add up all the steps we took from the minute we got to the start line to the minute we crossed the finish line and received our medals, we hiked over 13 miles. Okay, so I didn’t technically make every step, but I was along for every step that Mommy & Daddy took, and I took some of my own.
This is what Mommy, Daddy & I did today!
This was Mommy & me at the start line…it was dark and chilly, but neither of those lasted long!

Peak 1 reached! Sunrise Mountain We really like this hike! It’s a long one, but the terrain is smooth, the inclines are conquerable and the views are amazing!
Recharging with some blueberry goodness! Got to keep this body in tip top shape!

Yes, Peak 2 reached! West Wing Mountain This is a hard trail, not as long as the first, but the terrain is really rocky and there are some steep ascents. So glad it’s downhill from here.
Wait, I thought it was supposed to be downhill! Does that sign behind me say up?!? Abort! Abort!
East Wing Mountain, I know this mountain, it’s right outside my house. Mommy & I hike it all the time. Let’s do this thing!
Peak 3 check! East Wing Mountain The hikes are getting shorter! Good planning, Mom!

Peak 4, done and done! I did it, I made it to the top of all four peaks!!

Ah, yeah!! Another medal to add to my collection! It was so nice of them to give a medal to Mommy & Daddy, too! They worked pretty hard, but they’re not as cute as me!!
