#SuperstitionMountains
On the east side of Phoenix is a mountain range called the Superstition Mountains. They stand very tall, with a unique shape to them. We’ve never been to that side of town, so we decided to do a one day adventure.

Joey always thinks that, since he’s the senior man of the group, the rules don’t apply to him. He’s the only one of the four of us who ever breaks a stay. Luckily, he only does it when we’re out by ourselves. If we have an audience watching, he holds his stay perfectly!
At the base of the Superstition Mountains is an old time Museum. The grounds are full of historical buildings, and interesting mining equipment. We can’t read, but we still enjoyed exploring the grounds.
That is, until the Sheriff threatened to throw us into jail for trespassing! What?!? Do these faces look guilty to you?
When the Sheriff let us go, we quickly went to church to confess all of our sins. HAHA! Fooled you…we don’t have any sins to confess, but we sure didn’t want to get on the wrong side of that Sheriff!
After the museum, we headed to Goldfield Ghost Town. Although Mommy & Daddy said it was safe to go in, we weren’t so sure! Looks pretty abandoned and creepy to us!
Look at these faces! Do we look like we’re scared of any ghosts! No way! We laugh in the face of danger!
Of course, we had to check out the ladies! With our charms, they didn’t stand a chance.
And then, back to the church, to confess our sins. So many temptations, no wonder there were so many churches in the olden days!
After leaving the ghost town, we drove a long way around the Superstition Mountains to get to Lake Roosevelt. It’s similar to the Hoover Dam that we saw last month, but a lot smaller! Although, it’s bridge was better looking!
Thank goodness this was our last stop. At this point, we were either tired or hungry or both! What a day!
