#PBJDoesKC2016
Although we are originally from Kansas City, we have never really done the tourist-y thing. So, while visiting family and friends in September, we also took the opportunity to explore and take in some Kansas City sights!
Uh oh, Mommy & Daddy are in trouble! Hopefully, we can use our good looks to get them out of a jam!
Of course, when you come to Kansas City, you have to stuff yourself silly at your favorite BBQ joint! Umm, we may be in need of a spa visit after this meal. Paw licking good!!
We spent our last day in Kansas City being tourists! Our first stop was at the National WWI Museum & Memorial. From the Liberty Memorial, there is a perfect view of Union Station and Downtown Kansas City.
Next up was the jazz district at 18th & Vine. It’s best to go there at night, because that’s when the place comes alive, but Mommy said we are too young for the jazz night life.
World Champs! We are so proud of the Royals and definitely had to make a stop at the K! The only bummer is that they wouldn’t let us on the grass…we just wanted to run the bases, we swear!
At the Liberty Memorial, we were too short to get a great view of the downtown area, so we looped around and took in Bartle Hall and the city skyline from a different angle. We are just as unique as the sculptures on top of the hall…but we weigh a lot less!
No day out on the town would be complete without a stop at the local brewery! Our favorite is the Unfiltered Wheat.
