Our Aunt Lori & Grandpa came to town to run in the Arizona Rock N Roll Half Marathon. (We think they’re crazy weird!) They brought Grandma with them, and together we all explored, played, ate, drank and got crazy!

Read MoreI went to my first Barn Hunt class last night. Barn hunt is a sport based on the traditional idea of ridding farms, barns, and homes of destructive vermin. Rats are placed in tubes and hidden on a course made of bales of hay and loose straw. The goal is for the dog to quickly and efficiently find the tubes that contain the rats and let their handler know. No worries, the rats are very well taken care of and often beloved family pets…as was the case for the rats in my class last night.

Today, we ventured into North Phoenix and hiked to the top of Lookout Mountain! The views of the city were amazing...you could see for miles and miles...and everything looked so tiny...even downtown Phoenix!
Read MoreMommy, Daddy & I participated in the 4 Peak Challenge this year. We hiked to the top of four different mountain peaks in our area. If you add up all the steps we took from the minute we got to the start line to the minute we crossed the finish line and received our medals, we hiked over 13 miles. Okay, so I didn’t technically make every step, but I was along for every step that Mommy & Daddy took, and I took some of my own.
Read MoreOur friends, Max & Apache, invited us to Dogs’ Day in the Garden at the Desert Botanical Gardens this morning. We had so much fun…and no one stuck their nose in a cactus…although a couple of us came close!
Read MoreBruiser was invited to the Ultimate Air Games national competition at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, Missouri. He qualified to compete in both the Novice division and the Featherweight division. Bruiser & Pebbles made the 24 hour drive half way across the country to give it their all!
Read MoreBruiser, and all of his dock diving buddies, spent the day dock diving to raise money for some of our dock diving friends who are currently battling breast cancer. Wonderful gifts were donated, lots of money was raised, personal bests were hit and fun was had by all!
Read MorePhoenix hosted its first ever Best Friends Animal Society Strut Your Mutt walk to raise money towards saving shelter animals. Every day more than 9,000 dogs and cats are killed in shelters. Our dream and wish is to make that number Zero! Through the help of our friends, we were able to raise money and help support this cause.

Read MoreWe are seasoned travelers, quite proficient at the road trip! Twice a year, we travel along the Old Route 66 from Phoenix to Kansas City. It’s a 20+ hour, 2 day trip through multiple states, varied landscapes and all sorts of scenery.
